A message from Rev. Dave
As we continue in the days of Easter, I find myself excited by the changes around us. Changes in the light, changes in the plants and growing things, even changes in our progress with the pandemic. More and more people are getting vaccinated, and that seems to provide a light at the end of the tunnel. Yes, we need to continue to be careful – keep wearing your mask, stay distant from each other, wash your hands, and of course, pray – but there is light showing. We can do this. Let’s pray for strength for everyone this week – strength to keep dealing with the situation.
I received an email from the Diocese this week with a format to approach regathering. I have a rather involved checklist regarding regathering that I will share with the wardens – then I review this checklist with a “regathering shepherd” to get a go ahead to proceed. Be patient with me while I do this homework, and we will proceed – with safety for everyone our highest priority, as soon as we can.
And one more plug for the future Eagle Scout Adrian Mohammed, a member of the parish. Please support his community service project.
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! The Lord is Risen indeed! Alleluia!
Yours in Christ,
