A Message From Rev. Dave
Interesting news this week – Trinity is scheduled for a visit from Bishop Alan on February 6. I have no idea what this will look like yet – I’m not even sure we will be regathered and worshipping in person at that point, but I will be discussing it all in a meeting with Alan (via Zoom, of course) and will share more details next week.
Tomorrow is Martin Luther King, Jr Day. I’d like to close with some of his words that hand on a bulletin board near my computer where I see them and think about them almost every day.
“Use me. God. Show me how to take who I am, who I want to be, and what I can do, and use it for a purpose greater than myself.”
Life is short,
And we do not have much time to gladden the hearts of those who travel with.
So be swift to love,
Make haste to be kind,
And go in peace to love and serve the Lord.
In Christ,
David +
